Gum: The Answer For My Sweet Tooth?

A co-worker just brought me some “Extra Dessert Delights” and recommended I use it for my newly acquired sweet tooth that seems to be taking over my life. I’m giving it a shot! I had a stick after lunch and although it seems to be giving me somewhat of a stomach ache (aspartame used to do that to me until I drank it all day long). It is breaking my “no aspartame” rule, which I’m not generally pleased about. But I know regular gum will probably up my cavity likelihood. I’m hoping there’s less aspartame in a stick of gum than a can of soda. Anyone know?
