New Challenge: Run Two Miles By 9/20

I ran a full mile without stopping back in May. The weather was much cooler. My diet wasn’t better (or worse), and I was working out much less because I had just moved. I started running again about three weeks ago, and I can’t even make a full mile. So my new goal is to run two miles without stopping by September 20th! Here’s to my journey. I’ll be posting my progress in the coming weeks. I’m working on the C25K program, and in the mornings am doing an even easier program (A Rookie Runner program) where I run even shorter spurts. I like having a specific goal with a deadline. Plus my sister knows and has set her own goal. So here’s to conquering it!

After that is the 5K in October, in the morning. So I have my work cut out for me since my stamina in the mornings sucks.
